We look for technology solving infrastructure problems rather than chasing consumer trends — payments and financial access, logistics and supply chain, property technology, and platforms that put public or health services within reach. What we look for: a real problem, a working product, revenue, and a founding team already operating in the market.
Education
Institutions, training providers and platforms where the link between what is taught and what is hired for is direct and provable. We have operated in this sector in the United States and understand both its regulatory weight and its economics.
Healthcare
Care delivery, facilities, diagnostics and health services in under-served markets. Our home health care operations in North Carolina inform how we assess opportunities in East Africa.
Hospitality
Hotels, resorts, and the operating and supply businesses around them — in Tanzania, Zanzibar and comparable coastal markets. This is our deepest operating sector and the one where we most often take control.
