Mount Eagle Ltd was formed in 2009 to hold, fund and operate a group of businesses spanning the United States and East Africa. Today the group’s interests run across hospitality, real estate development, residential rental property, higher education, home health care, and direct investment.
We are headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with offices in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar.
What distinguishes the group is not the breadth of the portfolio — it is that we operate in the markets we invest in. Our East African businesses are run by teams based in East Africa. Our American businesses are run by teams in North Carolina. Capital allocation happens at the group; execution happens locally.
